Open Swing Smash and tap "Play Now" on the home screen. The front camera will activate. Make sure your upper body is visible in frame, then swing when you're ready!

Swing Smash relies on detecting your body's motion through the front camera. Make sure:

• Framing: Your upper body (head, shoulders, and arms) is clearly within the front camera's frame.
• Lighting: The room is well-lit — avoid heavy shadows or backlighting.
• Contrast: Wear clothing that contrasts with the background for better motion detection.
• Stability: The phone is placed on a stable surface and isn't moving.
• Speed: Swing with deliberate, visible motion — very slow movements may not register as a swing.

The AI uses your front camera to track body movement and estimates the speed and arc of your swing. It calculates your power (%), swing speed (m/s), and drive distance (yards) based on the detected motion. A faster, more complete swing = higher power = longer drive. The selected club also affects your distance range.

Before or during a game, tap the club selector to switch between Driver, Iron, Pitching Wedge, and other available clubs. Each club has a different distance range — the Driver gives maximum distance while the Wedge is for precision shots.

Tap the "History" button on the home screen. Your complete swing log shows every shot with distance, power, speed, club used, and score. Each swing is recorded automatically after you play a round.

• Swings: Total number of swings you've taken.
• Best Drive: Your longest drive distance ever recorded (in yards).
• Top Power: Your highest power % achieved in a single swing.
• Top Score: Your highest round score.

You need an internet connection to download the app and sync stats. However, the core swing detection and gameplay work offline using your device's processor — so you can play anywhere, anytime.

• Close background apps to free up your device's processor.
• Make sure your camera lens is clean.
• Improve lighting in the room — better light helps the camera process faster.
• Restart the app if lag persists.
• Restart your device if the issue continues.

• Force close and relaunch the app.
• Check that your device has sufficient storage space available.
• Update Swing Smash to the latest version from the App Store or Play Store.
• If the crash repeats, please contact us with your device model and OS version.

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same App Store or Google Play account you used when purchasing. If the issue persists, contact us with your purchase receipt.

Go to the History screen, find the swing entry you want to remove, swipe left on the entry, and tap Delete.
